Cultural Programme

Anniversary 

Colourful and vibrant Christian-related activities specially for the youth and children not only encourages them to involve themselves in various ministries of the church but also gives them a chance to exhibit and use their talents for the glory of the Lord. These activities are held every alternate Sundays under the banner CA (Christ’s Ambassadors) . Besides this, there will be an Annual Day (held every December) where all the different departments of the Church come together and perform various programmes together.Thus, helping to propagate the good news to a wider spectrum in a more entertaining manner. 

Annual Sports

MCAG Sports day is an event staged by the Church annually, in which all members are allowed to take part in competitive sporting activities. The various events are held separately for different age groups. Each participant is assigned to either of the 2 Existing teams namely, Immanuel Team and Ebenezer Team. Winners are awarded with individual trophies and shields while the Winning team bags the Rolling Cup. Besides bringing out the sportive talents of the Church, Sports Day, teaches and encourages different members of the church to come together as a team, along with patience, determination, tolerance and perseverance to reach a common goal, irrespective of age, standards and education.

Annual Tour

MCAG also organizes a tour programme , where all the members go to different tourist locations together. It gives an opportunity for all the members to take a break from their daily chores and duties, thus refreshing their body and minds alike. It is indeed a completely different experience when all the church members travel together and see various scenic and historic spots, thus enriching their knowledge on history and also treating their eyes with anthropogenic and natural beauty. Various scenic spots often make them to stand in awe and praise the Lord for His marvellous works on nature. These tours allows the Church to come together and spend time with each other, thus edifying the unity and fellowship of the Church.

Q.Who can become a member of MCAG?

Ans. Any, person who has been attending this church for the past 6 weeks and has had immersion baptism.

Q.What if I am the only one saved in my family, can I become a member?

Ans.Yes, you can.

Q. Should we attend church regularly after taking membership?

Ans.Yes, if you are not sick or travelling, it’s important that you attend Church regularly.

MEMBERSHIP

To Become a Member of MCAG Church

• Should be Born again and  baptized in the water.

(John 1:12, 3:3-8, 1 Peter1:8,25)

• Should Attend MCAG church for a minimum of 3 months.
• Must Believe in the 16 fundamental Doctrins adopted by the assemblies of God.
• Must completely avoid use of drugs, tobacco, alcoholic beverages.
• Must be ready to come under the authority of the pastors of the Church- and to takecorrection, to be disciplined and advice as and when required.
• Must try to the best of their abilities to actively involve in the church ministries and to

attend church regularly.

Procedure:

All those who have met the membership requirements, which will also include attending some classes, can become members of our Church. You can apply at our office after meeting the pastor.

CHRIST AMBASSADORS (Youth Meeting)

Look around at today’s youth and you can see how technology has changed their lives. They lie on their beds and study while listening to music, texting and chatting online with friends, and reading and posting facebook messages. Yet few know where to begin this journey and parents don’t understand what is happening as our youth embrace digital media technologies but where do they go from there and who can support their unsupported fear. With warm, down-to-earth practicality the youth are given the direction, motivation, and encouragement for rising above the ordinary and realizing the unique vision that God has for them that speaks to the desire of their heart. Our extravagance of Word, Praise & worship prompts further expression of love to God- many of them who join, showcase their talents while having a great time with friends of similar interest. 

Youths shall have the opportunity to participate and perform their talents in front of audience viz. singing, preaching , writing essay ,play,skit,script writing ,competitions ,directing and using many more modern technologies for the glory of God.

New Generation has attracted many youngsters to the church. Some who have never entered a church building before too. Sharing the gospel through the Word, diversified program of activities and outreaches-has been a great way to reach the youth, building them into strong individuals and future leaders for Jesus Christ. All the youth must come and experience it yourself!

WMC/Women’s Prayer Fellowship

Every Thursday, women of the church will gather and conduct Service and will have intercessory prayer which is a great blessing to the church and its ministries. It’s a two hour of Word, Worship, Prayer and fellowship. Women’s fellowship calls women to honour , to encourage and to embrace themselves as the most beautiful God’s creation. The Women’s fellowship is where prayer binds women together so they can become a foundational support to their home as well as to the church. You can hear echoes of testimonies of what the Lord has done in their lives through this ministry. Our vision is that every woman should be equipped to minister within their circle of influence and become the Prayer Voice in the wilderness. Today’s women are shrinking back when they should be stepping up in life. We need answers and the only real answers are an answer to prayer. God is always at work for our benefit, even when we can’t see or understand. Our Prayer ministry has been described as Miraculous &

anointed. The churches also have their own share of difficulties; our nation needs a breakthrough- only prayer will help us tackle the challenges and the situations of today. Many women gather in one accord to pray. Be blessed and encouraged and join us-To Find the One Great Thing you were created to do in this World.

MPF (Mens Prayer Fellowship)

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) Among all our ministries, the ministry of prayer is the largest. Prayer is the foundation of our church, and we can proudly say that we have a healthy and growing church because we believe in the ministry of prayer. Every day atleast one or more members fast and pray continuously for the growth and blessings of the church. Every evening 7:30-9:00pm brothers gather in the church for prayer. In case of any health, financial, spiritual or family problems, the MPF members will visit their house and support them in prayer and other needs. God is calling His people to heartfelt prayer. As believers when we answer this divine call to prayer, two things begin to happen. First, God’s people begin to return to Him in revival. Second,the church begins to be reclaimed as a house of prayer for all the nations (see Mark 11:17). AGreat Commission Prayer Ministry will provide a way for churches to become houses of prayerwith a passion for the lost.

Children’s Ministry/Sunday School

Children today are admired for their intelligence, knowledge and capabilities. We gape at them as they can rattle off all the details and facts about their favorite star. Wouldn’t it be great if they knew that much about God and excited about Him?

Teaching Kids authentic Word & Worship is necessary and it is effectively leading children into a greater, more permanent relationship with Jesus. We desire for our kids to be true worshippers as we coach, instruct, and guide the children in making God their greatest hero and lifelong friend. They are also encouraged with dance, crafts, games, drama, skit ,essay writings, exams and more. We are committed in ensuring children grow up with strong values and in the love of Christ. We have anointed and committed Head Master/Mistress and teachers to train children and conduct Sunday school. 

Our Faith in Action

As Christians, we believe that all human beings have been created in the image of God and therefore are worthy of help. Those who need help in a particular situation are equally worthy of love, respect and care. The way the Church meets and serves people is inspired by how Jesus met and served people, as described in the Bible. Jesus cared for the sick, the hungry, the poor, the spiritually thirsty and the outcasts of the society. He did not condemn them but listened to them and helped those who asked for help. And he taught people to follow His example. Our charity works include distribution of cloths, food, Conducting medical camps, free tailoring and computer class, etc.
